NYCC features regional accreditation from the Commission on Higher Education, Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools
The School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at NYCC has achieved initial accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) for a five-year period, effective February 9, 2008.
Career innovations include exciting new programs in Complementary and Alternative Medicine, such as the M.S.A. (Master of Science in Acupuncture) and M.S.A.O.M. (Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine)
Over 90% of lead faculty have academic or professional doctorates
NYCC students experience a full-year internship at a variety of clinics and medical settings to gain invaluable, integrated real-world experience
NYCC has a graduation rate of 91.0% in the Doctor of Chiropractic program. This rate represents the percentage of full-time students that entered in the Fall 2002 cohort, and earned the Doctor of Chiropractic degree from NYCC within the maximum timeframe.
NYCC has a graduation rate of 72.5% in the School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. This rate represents the percentage of students that entered in the Fall 2003 cohort, and earned the Master of Science in Acupuncture or Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from NYCC within the maximum timeframe.
